Level 3 Stylist
Becca joined our team in the craziness of 2020 (yep, she’s a keeper), and has bloomed and grown into an incredibly talented stylist. She’s passionate about understanding your needs and lifestyle before creating the perfect color and cut to fit that mold.
Her current faves include textured cuts and modern, low-maintenance color.
She loves sipping coffee, playing with dogs, and having fun with her guests and can’t wait to meet you!

Level 6 Stylist
Lesly joined our team in 2021 and is a master colorist and stylist. Her Aveda training has brought her to many advanced classes and events that have fueled her love for hair and people.
She loves being a part of the team environment at Echo and when she’s not here, she’s enjoying her husband and three precious babes.

Kayla
Level 3 Stylist
Kayla graduated cosmetology school in 2020, after that, she completed an assistant program to further her skills and knowledge behind the chair.
Kayla specializes in blonding, lived-in/low-maintenance color, and extensions. She always prioritizes what works best for your lifestyle and needs!

Leah
Brow + Lash Artist
Soon after earning her Cosmetology License, Leah felt a calling and traveled to Chicago to become a Certified Lash Extension Specialist. She has now been in the lash game since 2017 and couldn’t be happier! With Leah’s light touch and genuine conversation, she’ll make you feel right at ease. She loves to see the instant gratification her clients receive when they’re able to enhance their natural beauty.
Whether it be lash extensions, lash lifts/tints, or facial waxing, she is happy doing what she loves. Leah has a keen eye for detail and creating art, and takes continuing education opportunities in her field when available.

Level 5 Stylist
Barbara has been in the hair industry since 2012, when she graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute. She was nominated amongst hundreds of stylists and voted the best in the Kalamazoo area in 2019.
Her passions include bridal hair, blonding, lived-in color, and extensions!
She enjoys meeting and connecting with new people every day, while helping each guest achieve their hair goals- as well as learning and collaborating with the rest of the team here at Echo.

Sam joined our team in 2023 after moving to GR from Kalamazoo. She specializes in lived-in color and cuts and can’t wait to meet you!
She loves making a personal connection with each individual client and enjoys finding a style that is easy to manage! Sam loves to learn and is always looking for inspiration from her peers, online education, and in person classes.

Katie is a veteran stylist with many years of experience both hairstyling and sugaring hair removal. She splits her time about 50/50 between the two and enjoys mixing it up every day. Katie has a knack for short, textured cuts, precise cuts, and beautiful color. She loves to create a wonderful experience for each guest by making their day a little better.
Melissa
Owner, Level 8 Stylist
Melissa started doing hair full-time in 2011 and loves every aspect of this career. In 2017, she purchased Echo Salon and enjoys the mix of working on the salon floor and working to grow the team. In 2022, she purchased Echo Salon Lowell!
As a mom/wife/business owner, she understands the needs of a busy life. She loves to match gorgeous hair extensions and a haircut with low-maintenance color that fits your lifestyle and routine.

Bethany has been in and around salons since 2014 and joined our team at Echo in 2020. Her passion for multi-dimesional color and the latest and greatest techniques have made her a perfect fit for our team.
She also enjoys curly cuts and color- having curly hair herself, she understands some of the stresses that curly girls have when finding a great stylist.
She loves sharing a laugh and creating deep connections beyond hair at the salon and is excited to meet you!

Emily loves ALL aspects of the hair industry working both behind the chair and in marketing for a family-owned beauty distribution company. Her favorite thing about the industry is making people feel like the best versions of themselves both on the inside and outside while creating long lasting relationships. You can expect a high-end, comfortable experience when sitting in her chair - from the thorough consultation, to sending you home with a look and products you love.
Continuing education is a top priority for Emily since her start in 2015. She loves to share her knowledge on latest industry trends, styles, and anything local to Grand Rapids (especially anything containing food + drink :)) .

Alex has been a stylist since 2020, working in a salon in Port Huron before moving to Grand Rapids and starting to build her clientele at our Lowell location in October of 2022.

Hailey was born and raised in Lowell and loves the community here. She has been behind the chair since 2011 and prior to that worked as a receptionist.
She loves having a variety of clients and services to do throughout the day from cuts to dimensional color, highlights to pops of vivid or fashion colors. She believes every guest deserves to feel beautiful and special in her chair.
Outside the salon she enjoys being a wife, mom, dog mom, and spending time with family.
